two people were shot and a man stabbed after a horrific incident in Barking on Monday morning.
Officers were called to Hertford Road at 4am after reports of a shooting and found a 20-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, where his condition is not considered life-threatening.
Officers were later alerted to reports of a man and woman visiting a hospital in East London with gunshot wounds.
The man, aged around 30, suffered a non-life-threatening leg injury.
The woman received minor injuries corresponding to bullet grazing.

Investigations are underway to establish the circumstances. At this stage, it is believed that all three received their injuries on Hertford Road, where a police cordon remains.
