The rain will move from the southwest this afternoon as a low pressure system approaches.
Total precipitation is expected from 20 to 30 mm, while the rain decreases to a few showers at night or on Wednesday morning.
Locally higher precipitation up to 40 mm is possible in areas that receive heavy rainfall during a thunderstorm.
Heavy rainfall can cause water to build up on poorly drained sections of highways.
Drivers must leave extra time to reach their destination.
