A huge brawl broke out on board the plane while the arrests were made while landing

Arrests were made after a huge fight in flight.

A number of passengers flying from Manchester Airport to Amsterdam aboard a KLM flight on Thursday (May 5th) were involved in the shocking brawl. Other people urged them to “behave”.

Crew members had to intervene to stop the battle between two “disobedient” groups of passengers, KLM reported, according to Manchester Evening News. In a video that is widely circulated on Twitter, stunned passengers are heard shouting “stop”, “hold on” and “this is a plane” while a man looks beaten.

A group of men appear to take turns hitting the man, while cabin crew members appear shocked and intervene. At the beginning of the video you can see a woman trying to stop the fight, while at another moment a man sitting near the fight is trying to pull one of the members of the group.

A woman sitting nearby later tried to break up the crowd, shouting “enough.” At the end of the video, the man appears to be shouting at the group while being held by a staff member.

KLM says the cabin crew and captain “ended” the fight before all those involved were arrested when they arrived at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. A KLM spokesman said: “[Yesterday] we had several unruly passengers on our KLM 1070 flight from Manchester to Amsterdam.

“The captain and cabin crew ended a fight between two groups of passengers. All involved were arrested on arrival at Schiphol Airport. There was no delay. KLM does not tolerate aggression against employees or passengers.

“We apologize to our passengers who may have been affected by the accident.”
