Germany will send a long-range self-propelled artillery clutch to Ukraine, the first offensive heavy weapons it has offered since the start of the conflict.
Some military experts consider the Panzerhaubitze 2000 armored howitzers to be one of the best in the world in its class, capable of surpassing most Russian artillery weapons in the Donbass with a range of up to 25 miles.
They are also valued for the speed with which they can be deployed, launched and moved backwards, making them very suitable for the shoot-and-shoot tactics used on the battlefields of eastern Ukraine.
