Russia’s ambassador to Poland has been drenched in red paint thrown by protesters in front of a Soviet cemetery in Warsaw.
Protesters attacked Sergei Andreev when he arrived to honor Red Army troops killed during World War II.
Footage circulated on the Internet shows that the paint was thrown behind Mr. Andreev before a protester next to him hit him in the face with the liquid. The ambassador can be seen wiping the paint off his face, but does not respond to the demonstrators.
