A press conference is scheduled for today, at which the waiting lists for cardiac surgery in the province will be discussed.
Prime Minister Andrew Fury and Health Secretary John Hagi will be joined by Eastern Health CEO David Diamond, Cardiac Care Clinical Director Dr. Sean Connors, President and CEO of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Dr. Thierry Messana and Dr. Mark Ruel, gifted research chair in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the Institute of Heart Disease, University of Ottawa.
The press conference is scheduled for 12:30 in the main lobby of the Confederation building. VOCM News will be there.
