Two teenagers have died after a 16-year-old BMW allegedly crashed into a road bridge.

The unnamed boys, aged 13 and 17, were passengers in a blue BMW 320 that veered off the A16 on a bridge near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Emergency services arrived on the scene in the early hours of Saturday and rushed the three boys to Adenbrook Hospital in Cambridge with life-threatening injuries.

Unfortunately, the two Peterborough passengers died at a hospital yesterday.

The driver, also from Peterborough, was arrested in connection with the accident and remained in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials are urging anyone who has witnessed the collision, or anyone who has a camera recording, to contact them.
