Police have launched an investigation into a murder after a man died in Tubrook.
A large cordon was laid on Newham Drive today after police were called to signal a riot in a house shortly after 6.50pm on Sunday. Emergency services arrived, but despite the efforts of paramedics, a dead man was found on the spot.
The man’s relatives have been notified and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

A 56-year-old man from Tubruk was arrested by officers at the scene on suspicion of murder.
