Twitter will close the TweetDeck management app for Mac from July 1

Twitter’s social media dashboard management app, TweetDeck, will no longer be available as a standalone Mac app from July 1.

When the TweetDeck app for Mac was launched, Twitter began placing a blue banner at the top, warning users that it will only be available for another month, reports 9To5Google.

“We say goodbye to TweetDeck for the Mac app to focus on making TweetDeck even better and testing our new review,” said a tweet from the TweetDeck team.

“July 1 is the last day it will be available,” he added.

According to the report, TweetDeck for Mac just received a major overhaul last year, which brought it in line with the web version.

At the time, the company acknowledged that the app had not received “much love” and was an example of “a Twitter-owned and managed service that we will continue to invest in,” he added.

Another strange part of the abrupt cancellation of the TweetDeck Mac application is that it should not require any effort to maintain Twitter, as it is the realization of a website wrapper.

Last year, the microblogging site announced a new and improved version of TweetDeck. At the time, he was testing the new features with a small group of users in the United States, Canada and Australia.
