Dead Space creator Glen Schofield’s sci-fi horror, The Callisto Protocol, finally has a release date and hits PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC on December 2nd this year.
The Calisto Protocol, which was officially introduced in December 2020, is a third-person horror game set in 2320. It takes place within the Black Iron Prison Colony on Jupiter’s Moon Calisto and, needless to say, I say – suffocating horror and “horrifying secrets” follow.
We’ve only seen one movie on The Callisto Protocol since its intriguing release in 2020, so it’s nice to finally see the action in action with the kind assistance of the brand new trailer for the release date – which includes a bit of gameplay – below. It looks like an appropriate atmospheric, tasty nasty thing – and, yes, it’s not completely different from Dead Space.
Callisto – Trailer Release Date Protocol.
There isn’t much more to report on the game at the moment, although that will certainly change as the release date of December 2 approaches.
One thing we do know, however, thanks to recent confirmation from Schofield, is that The Callisto Protocol – which is being developed by Striking Distance Studios for publisher PUBG Krafton – will no longer attempt to infiltrate the PUBG universe to be honest. that said, it always sounded like a very dubious plan.
