Marzocchi’s new Bomber Air shock looks a little different. A little to the side. But for a good reason. The iconic suspension brand has created its new shock absorber to fit as many frames as possible and be easily adjusted on the go. Tilting the air tank just a little to the side helps to achieve both goals.

Big shock, small bikes
As you would expect from Marzocchi, Bomber Air is built solidly. It has a DH rating for use with the biggest motorcycles for the biggest hits. With the tank off the axle, however, it also carries this firm attitude towards short-distance bikes. There are more and more short-travel bikes designed for aggressive riding, such as the Norco Optic or Canyon Spectral 125, and Marzocchi wanted to create a shock that works for that as well. So Bomber Air is available in a huge range of sizes, in mounting options with metric and cylinder.

Large volume for better flow
Tilting the air tank allows Marzocchi to maintain a high-volume Bomber Air strike. The higher oil volume and easier flow between the main shock absorber and the tank ensure a more consistent performance with a wider range of functions, from small jumps to large strokes and long descents.
Easily accessible compression settings allow you to fine-tune this performance, even when you’re on the go. Like Marzocchi forks, the adjustment knobs are designed to be easy to access and intuitive to use, so you don’t need an engineering degree to get the most out of your bike.
If the levers do not offer sufficient adjustment, Marzocchi offers spacers for air volume in steps of 0.1 CI. There are also spacers to reduce movement if you decide you want less bounce.
