UPDATE 2: Jeff Hardy is being released from prison after paying bail on charges against DUI and others. PWInsider reports that the AEW star was tied up at 7:07 p.m. ET after paying a previously reported $ 3,500 bond.
Hardy is due to appear in court tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
UPDATED: New details have emerged about the arrest of Jeff Hardy this morning on charges of DUI and others. ESPN’s Mark Raimondi shared details of the report on the arrest of a Florida highway, noting that police responded to a white car that was seen “turning” and fleeing the roadway at 12:30 p.m. The officer stopped, and when he began interacting with Hardy, the report said the AEW star appeared to be “stunned and confused.”
Hardy left his car and was told he smelled of alcohol and was unstable. Police officers spoke to Hardy and learned that he had been drinking, and the report noted that he had not been able to do any part of the sobriety exercises successfully “or without the risk of falling.”
Finally, Raimondi notes that Hardy did two breathalyzer tests and they showed blood alcohol levels of 0.294 and 0.291, more than three times the legal limit of Florida of 0.08.
As noted, Hardy was charged with driving while the license was revoked / suspended / revoked, a violation of driver’s license restrictions, and a third crime of alcohol / drug use within 10 years. The last charge is a third-degree crime, and the others are second-degree crimes.
PWInsider reports that Hardy is still in jail.

Officers performed a breath test, and Hardy’s first test showed 0.294 blood alcohol levels. The second sample showed 0.291. The legal limit for driving in Florida is 0.08.

He was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on charges of driving, while his driving license was revoked, his driver’s license restrictions violated, and his third alcohol / drug offense within 10 years.
