The next cheap iPad with A14 Bionic chip and USB-C port

Apple, simply called the iPad, is the cheapest tablet, usually starting at $ 329, and the current model was updated last September. There will be more significant updates this year, according to a new rumor.

The next cheap iPad will have a Retina display with the same resolution of 1640×2360 as the iPad Air, which means that its diagonal will also change from 10.2 “currently to 10.9” to match the last iPad Air, released in March. However, support for a wide range of colors and high brightness will remain exclusive to the more expensive tablets in the Apple range.

The upcoming cheap iPad will be powered by the AG Bionic chipset with 5G support, the same source claims, and will be equipped with a USB-C port – Lightning will disappear. So from now on, the entire list of modern Apple tablets will have USB-C on board. Strangely, iPhones have not yet followed suit, but they may be forced to do so in the future.

It is not yet clear when this new cheap iPad will be unveiled, but if history repeats itself, then it should appear at the iPhone launch event in the fall.
