What will Nothing Phone 1 look like? Here’s a look.

The first smartphone Nothing, Nothing Phone 1, launched in July and now we know what it will look like.

Hardware launch by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pay released its first product, the Ear (1) headset in 2021, and has been annoying the upcoming phone ever since.

Just like the headset, the phone has transparent elements. It’s hard to tell if they’re real or fake, but if we really see through the (probably glass) back cover of the phone, the image shared by Nothing reveals a few details about the phone: it will have a dual rear camera and wireless charging.

We also know that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and will work with a modified version of Android, but no other details have been revealed. Rumor has it that there will be a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and no visible “chin” underneath. The same source says that the phone will have a flat (I think like the iPhone) design, which looks accurate from what we can see in the picture of Nothing’s above.

Transparent elements have been tested before. Xiaomi had a partially fake transparent back on its Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and HTC did something similar with its Exodus 1 smartphone. It’s a great look that hasn’t been too much in the industry and Nothing obviously relies on it as a key part of its brand.

The launch is on July 12, although we are absolutely sure that there will be more teasers and leaks before that date.
