Fire crews are working to contain a huge fire in a commercial building in downtown Hamilton on Saturday morning.
Teams responded to a fire with multiple alarms in an empty 206 King Street West building around 7 a.m.
Large volumes of smoke can be seen from the building.
The Hamilton fire says the smoke is migrating east and through the mountains.
Residents are advised to keep their windows closed.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
No casualties were reported.
Hamilton Fire Chief David Cunliff is expected to hold a press conference at the scene at 10 a.m.
