A man is in critical but non-life-threatening condition in hospital after being shot at a mall in Brampton late Monday night.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to Sandalwood Parkway West and Chinguacousy Road at 11:12 p.m. to report the shots fired.
They arrived to find a man with at least one gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a trauma center, where he remained.
A witness told CP24 that she saw an orange Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck moving away from the scene.
Police sealed part of the parking lot in the square near Dairy Queen.
