THUNDER BAY – The outbreak of COVID-19 in a long-term care home in Thunder Bay has been announced.
The health department in the Thunder Bay area and the city of Thunder Bay announced on Monday the cessation of the outbreak in Pioneer Ridge on Jasper Drive.
COVID-19 has infected residents or staff in the Plaza 1 area of the city’s 150-bed nursing home.
The outbreak was first announced on May 31.
According to the latest published data from TBDHU, there is only one active outbreak among high-risk areas in the Thunder Bay area.
