Two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash on 32 Ave. and 196 Street on the border of Langley and Surrey, Langley RCMP said.
The accident happened on Saturday around 5 pm

Pictures from the scene showed the brutal aftermath, with extensive damage to a car.
“Witnesses reported that an SUV traveling on 196th Street may have run a stop sign and collided with a VW Sedan that was traveling on 32nd Avenue,” said Sgt. Rebecca Parslow.
“This collision caused the VW Sedan to be pushed into oncoming traffic where a secondary collision occurred with a Dodge truck. Sadly, the occupants of the VW Sedan died from their injuries at the scene. The victims, a man and a woman in their 50s, are residents of Surrey.

Two people were also sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

A nearby resident who witnessed some of the fallout has serious concerns about 32 Ave. at this time of day.
“I’ve lived here for 18 years,” Cheryl Wensel said.
“People don’t realize that the sun blinds and blinds all the way down the road (here).
“You can’t see anything at this time of day.”
