The West Kelowna Warriors will celebrate the life of former Warrior Parm Dhaliwal during a ceremony before their Oct. 1 game with the Penticton Vees.
Dhaliwal died on July 30 in New York. His body was found in a city center hotel room this morning.
He was only 23.
Dhaliwal’s family and friends will attend the ceremony.
“I’m excited for the Warriors organization and fans to welcome Parm’s friends and family to Royal LePage Place on October 1st for a night of celebration and great hockey in honor of Parm in the Okanagan,” said Director of Business Development and Communications Chase Johnston.
Dhaliwal played three seasons with the Warriors from 2016 to 2019.
He was unable to play his final season in 2019-2020 after concussions cut short his career.
