Both victims were unharmed during the altercation.
The suspect, who is described as six-foot-tall with a muscular build, is said to have left the scene in a white four-door pickup truck, possibly a Dodge.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 709-489-2121 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
